MANIFESTO
For years, we've accepted it without questioning it...
You tap a button. A price appears. You don't know why. The driver doesn't know what you paid. Everyone feels squeezed. And somehow we all decided that was normal.
gaja doesn't.
We believe rideshare should feel human again. Clear. Fair. Direct. A ride is not a mystery. It's an agreement between two people.
That belief is why we built gaja.
gaja is the rideshare startup becoming what we think is the next era of transportation. Not a better algorithm. A better relationship. A people-first network where riders and drivers can connect with more trust, more transparency, and more choice.
If you're a rider who's tired of price games, or a driver who's tired of being treated like a number, you're exactly who we're building for.
This is gaja. And this is where rideshare stops feeling like extortion.
We're launching in Boston. Follow along. Join the early community. Help us make the old rideshare model obsolete.
Bio
Meet the Founders
Meet Kevin, Co-Founder
"Hi! My name is Kevin. I am a recent graduate and a Boston local who's spent the past year driving Uber/Lyft to make ends meet. It's exhausting watching riders pay more while drivers take home less, and it's even worse seeing our communities treated like an afterthought by a system that isn't built for us. We deserve better, and I'm done accepting "that's just how it is." With gaja, we're building a rideshare that puts people first: fair pricing, real transparency, and a safer, more respectful experience. We're here to put an end to the broken, extractive model and bring power back to the people who actually keep this city moving."
Meet Max, Co-Founder
"Hey, my name is Max. Not long ago, I visited my friends from college and paid over $85 for a ride from Boston Logan Airport to Babson College. Out of curiosity, I asked the driver how much he was actually making. He told me $40. That means the platform took about 53% of the fare, just for being the middleman. That moment stuck with me. That moment is why we started gaja. We're building a system where the fare actually goes where it should, to the driver and the ride, not to a massive take-rate. Less games, more control, and a rideshare that's accountable to the communities it depends on."
